Graduating from Edinburgh University Medical School, Dr. Hammond holds qualifications including an MRCP (UK), MD (Edin), and FRCP (Lon), alongside his extensive medical education. With a commitment to excellence, Dr. Hammond has been actively involved in academia, receiving an A.R.C. Junior Research Fellowship at the Rheumatology Unit, Royal Postgraduate Medical School, Hammersmith Hospital, London. His dedication to advancing medical care extends beyond academic pursuits, as seen in his roles conducting clinical assessments for the States of Jersey Government and practicing in various private practices across London, including The London Clinic, Harley St Specialist Hospital, and London Medical.
Dr. Hammond’s clinical acumen is complemented by his involvement in medico-legal and regulatory matters, where he actively contributes to medico-legal reporting and participates in GMC fitness to practice reviews. More recently in his career, he has been actively engaged in Interventional Spinal Pain Management, specialising in non-surgical interventions for conditions like degenerative disc disease and sciatica. Additionally, he is an early adopter of regenerative medicine, utilising advanced techniques such as PRP and Bone Marrow Aspirate Concentrates to optimise patient outcomes.
